If you are interested in YMCA Texas Youth and Government, visit our start a club page. Our program season begins in August of each year. Teens are required to attend District conferences and qualify for state to attend. District Conferences will take place in November.

We are excited to welcome new and returning students to the program. We will have many opportunities virtually and in person for all students. Look out for workshops, material due dates, and invitationals on our new event calendar!
Financial Assistance
YMCA Texas Youth and Government aims to make programing accessible for all! If your child wants to participate and would like to apply for financial assistance, please fill out our short financial assistance application form HERE. Financial assistance is offered through local and regional YMCAs for families in each community. After your application has been reviewed by a regional team member in your District, they will contact you using the email listed on the application to notify you if you have been approved.
Please make sure you use the most updated contact information for both parent and child on this application form. This is crucial for local YMCA’s to be able to reach you regarding the application.
Applications must be submitted with required documentation prior to regional approval. Discount codes will be issued by local YMCA’s to reduce the cost at check out. Contact your local YMCA to learn more.
